Voices of Fundy recently travelled to Sackville, New Brunswick, to participate in the 2026 Sunrise Division Contest & Convention at Mount Allison University!

The weekend was filled with music, learning, friendship, and memorable performances from choruses and quartets from across Atlantic Canada. Along with presenting our contest package, members enjoyed, coaching sessions, and the opportunity to connect with singers from throughout the Northeastern District.

Under the direction of Debbie Hatfield, Voices of Fundy performed I'm A Believer and Over The Rainbow, earning a score of 390 points! The chorus also qualified to represent the Sunrise Division at the Northeastern District Chorus Contest later this year.  

Contest weekends are about much more than scores. They provide valuable opportunities to grow as musicians, receive feedback from experienced judges, and celebrate our shared love of singing.

We are incredibly proud of our performance and grateful for the support, encouragement, and friendships that made the weekend so special. The experience left us inspired, motivated, and excited for the season ahead.
